Greetings everyone, in this issue I shall tackle three major points of today:
- Morning Worship Service
- Foreigner Informational Program
- ‘Pneuma’ Youth Leadership Course
1. Morning Worship Service:
Today was a a normal Sunday for the Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul. Around 37.000 attendees in the buildings of Yoido. And broadcasting the message of God “LIVE” to over 10.000 other Yoido churches in all of Seoul and all over the world.
As the Worship Band, Orchestra, Choir and the sermon approaches to their end, many ushers (as you can see on the screen) gather up to serve the communion to the huge community[This communion happens every 1st Sunday of the month. And if you could remember well the RICE Vs Bread story, well the communion is composed of Rice Cubes and wine.
Things are in extreme order, If you arrive to the meeting 15 minutes early! Then you are already LATE! And if you leave the meeting 15 minutes after the meeting has ended! Then good luck trying to get out of the church, as massive amount of people would be getting into the church!
As I had a balcony seat, I was extremely amazed by the view of many groups of ministry every group having their own costumes (Elders, Deacons, Ushers, Choirs, etc…)
2. Foreigner Informational Program:
When the meeting Ended, we followed a ‘Foreigner Informational Program’ that lasted around one hour. Where deeper information was given about the planting of this Church by the vision given from God to Pastor David Yongi Cho. Explaining all the stages and the exponential growth of the church. And mostly how the people where humble to accept the word of our Lord and Savior and proclaim Him master on their lives by the power of Praying, Listening and Obeying to His word.
3. ‘Pneuma’ Youth Leadership Course:
As the clock approaches 12:30, Kim and I reach the office of Daniel Ow Mooksanim where we took our time in preparation for the ‘Pneuma’ Youth Leadership Training Course that I had to share.
The message included my testimony, difficulties encountered in ministry and how to overcome them spiritually and definitely a lot of information on Lebanon.
There was 300 Youth Leaders in the room. All so eager to know more about leadership, obedience, humbleness and most of all the will of God All Mighty.
But before we start the service, we all lifted our praises to the Lord in songs and prayers. The Holy Spirit’s presence was so amazing that time passed by without us noticing.
Finally, we started the service with life changing and encouraging words. They even learned to say ‘MarHaba‘ just like I learned earlier to say ‘Hanyoung Honseo‘
It was a lovely cultural exchange, knowing that ONLY the Holy Spirit could unite us as The Body of Christ.
During the day and as always, I’ve had some different incidences, so I shall let the pictures talk for themselves.
I pray that today’s journal is a blessing to everyone.
Have a pleasant day full of the Lord’s blessings! Amen.
Jesus’ Obedient Servant,
